The Dvoraks’ approach is based on the knowledge they had about the business before becoming its owners.
Dvorak worked at gyms in California before returning to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley to be closer to his mother after she was widowed.
He started as a staff member for an afternoon shift at the Lewiston Snap Fitness before eventually being promoted to manage the Snap Fitnesses in Lewiston, Clarkston and Moscow. He then acquired the Moscow location.
Lydia Dvorak joined Lewiston’s Snap Fitness as a new member of the community. It gave her a place to exercise and meet new people, something that was a challenge because she was working remotely.
With the purchase of the Lewiston location, Lydia has quit her corporate job to operate the gyms with Lance.
“We’re really focusing on the giving back, making members feel heard and taking care of them,” he said.
Lewiston Snap Fitness is located at 625 21st St., Suite C, on the same lot as Hells Canyon Grand Hotel.
